Meredith McEver, Licensed Clinical Social Worker has a masters degree in the behavioral sciences and specializes in helping individuals reach their full potential through meditation, creativity and therapy.
She currently provides individual therapy, family therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, MIndfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness Creativity Groups and Mindfulness Intuitive Painting.
She completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for Professionals and MBSR Teacher Development Intensive, the highest level of training for MBSR teacher. She completed professional training programs for Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, MBSR for teens, and Soryall Forrel’s Teaching Meditation to Children. She also completed a 3-year post graduate externship in family therapy and the supervision of family therapy.
She has studied Intuitive Painting and Facilitator Training with Michele Cassou and Stewart Cubley.
In addition to helping people individually and in groups, she has worked as a business consultant and clay artisan.

An article about her work with individuals traumatized by 9/11 was published in the Journal of Law and Religion. Her article on “MIndfulness Based Interventions” was published in the Sept. 2012 GWSCSW News & Views and her article“What Every Therapist Should Know About Mindfulnes Meditation” was published in the Sept. 2016 GWSCSW News & Views.
